If you’re a senior level non mgmt employee, do you think it’s appropriate or courteous to meet your potential future boss if the company is hiring someone to manage you and the campaigns you work on? I can see how it might be weird but why wouldnt a company want to evaluate dynamics and synergies?

I’ve been proposed an exit as Product Owner at a real company, not a consulting one. Staff seems nice, good culture, good salary (less than consulting but well), BUT I would have to move countries for that job and start a new life.

I’ve also been proposed a Manager position at a consulting company in my home city, with potential of bigger salary thanks to bonuses. Culture seems good... But I’m sure it’s gonna be a hell lot of work.
