3 or 4 weeks fully paid for secondary care.
My particular division would send a giant basket with all of the gerber goods since we owned them. We also send a gift card from their registry per policy.
I looked into this about 2/3 years ago when we were looking to update our policy. Atleast as off that time, some of the ‘best in class’ were between 20-24 months for primary, a SHRM study had found that 60% of employers have 12 weeks, 33% more than 12 weeks. Some companies also allow certain weeks where employees can come in part time as a way to ease back in to work.
we are in public accounting in the northeast. we are about 200 employees. we offer 8 weeks of full maternity (1st caregiver), 2 weeks of full paternity (2nd caregiver) and a 30 day transition period where the primary caregiver can work 20 hours a week but be paid for 40.
I should clarify- when I say "full" I mean 100% paid
Publishing/Media ..125 employees 16 weeks primary caregiver/4 weeks secondary caregiver.,for primary caregiver the first 6 weeks is covered by STD that pays 70% of weekly wage then we supplement the 30% to make them whole. Company salary continuation is 10 weeks + 6 weeks STD = 16 weeks, which does not include NYPFL if they want to use that.
In the CPG space, under 100 employees.
Primary: 8 weeks, 100% paid

In total the primary caregiver can take 1 year of leave, with the remaining 38 weeks being unpaid.
100% Paid Leave - 16 weeks, 8 is FMLA - 8 is Primary Caregiver. - Secondary Caregiver is 8 weeks.
I’m dense? You’re on maternity leave and you decided to pick a fight with a stranger on the internet. And I’m the one who’s dense? Your baby needs you.
