Current M2 in GT audit. Mostly on decent size public clients. After reading about the bonuses you guys are getting in FDD I'm interested in making the switch. Do you think if I do an internal transfer at GT I will get a significant raise? If I switch to another firm will I have any shot at coming in as a manager and what would the comp increase be, if any?

Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

Got an offer within Product Ops (Mt View) for L4, 145k base, 15% bonus, 185k equity (33/33/22/12), 15 sign on. One competing offer (that is lower) and only MBB promotion to Engagement manager in a few months as leverage point. Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?

Is it just me or does it seem like everyone in FDD is in for the long long haul? I remember in audit everyone would talk about quitting or how they're only going to do audit for a few years to get experience and then leave. I'm not really seeing the same in TS. Just my observation.

Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)? What was the role and salary bump, how are annual bonuses/raises in industry, what is a typical work week (hours) like? I don’t think I can take this always on just to stay afloat life much longer.
