What should one expect from the Hiring manager interview round at Accenture (ACN)? Could you please give me some insight.

I hardly work for more than 30 mins a day in my current project in a small company. It's server monitoring support work and mostly no issues. I have 15 years work exp but still getting only 11 LPA. Should I remain here for wlb or upskill and move up.

I have been working remotely since covid getting nothing but positive reviews. My company is not remote friendly and is now telling me I have to return to the office or I lose my job. I just found out a co-worker had a remote position created for them, without a job posting, without an interview and without the experience required (normally a license or certification would be mandatory). One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Strategy consulting folks - please help me understand by answering these questions that you may come across from time to time:

1. what is strategy consulting, and

2. how do you actually define whether strategy consultant is competent or not from client POV (ie, foundational knowledge, soft skills, etc.)

3. what are considered foundational consultant toolkit vs experienced consultant toolkit?
