Currently asking for a promotion from AAE to AE. How much should the raise be from my current salary and how much should an AE make?

If a fresh AE is making 60 I'm going to kill myself

Hoping for $60 but don't want my ask to be outrageous

I would give them good reasons why $60 is what you're looking for then. Do your research and try and quantify your worth

I would ask, worse that happens is you ask for 55 and get 50

Who do you negotiate in the promotion situation? HR or your dept director?

Started as an AAE at $45 😬 should it be $45->$55?

At Ogilvy the range for AE is 45-55. Source - started there as an AE, Asked range from recruiter. Ask for 60 and accept 55.
