I’m currently working in Citi as an AVP in Mumbai for the past 9 months.. due to personal reasons I wanted to move back to Pune (I have worked in Pune for last 8 years before coming to Citi) so I landed up with an offer from HSBC into Wholesale IT (GCB5).
My current Fixed CTC in Citi is 26.5 excluding PF and Retrials and HSBC IT has offered me 30.5 for the same and said they cannot increase further as am moving jobs in after 9 months which is too early..
Questions -
Have I been low balled?
What’s integer like?

ZS has pretty good placement at places like Kellogg, Booth, Columbia, and sometimes even Wharton depending on the rest of your application. If you plan on sticking around for 2.5-3 years you’ll have a promotion and solid work experience under your belt for MBA
Second ZS1. We don't place a ton of people at Harvard or Stanford, but a lot of ZSers go to other M7 / top 10 schools.
Great place to work! Hours have been long during Covid, but the people are great and the firm is growing quickly
Yeah depends on what company you’re at. ZS is a good name for B school so worth it for that. Can you push for a bit more money?
I can try. I think the biggest worry is just the title reset. If there was a promised accelerated promotion, I would definitely accept. Just a lot to think about.
