Don't do it
From what I know, Advisory at Deloitte is different than advisory or risk cyber at PwC and PwC is 3 years to senior so if you’re a 2nd year that may be an uphill battle
What is the reason for the jump? Hopefully more than just the promotion. It will be the same circus just different clowns and monkeys.
I'm 3 years In as well, this move will be purely based on compensation , promotion, and shifting to the commercial sector from federal
Deloitte OP, you will work crazy hours, get ready.
Yeah, don't.
Let’s just say PwC isn’t the place to run to when your looking for promotions....I work in the risk group. Not saying you can’t find a great team. But FYI Grass May not be greener.
Do you have specific questions?
Do it.
Also...you will now be placed within the Assurance bonus pool/not advisory. Cyber is hot right now..just an FYI to consider before you jump
I think the PwC cyber group is heading in a great direction under the One Cyber initiative. Lots of opportunities and cross service trainings. Work will always be work but the people are great and we have good leadership.
I don’t think you can expect to live in the DC area and not do Fed if you’re in Cyber, there’s such a huge demand. I’m a senior in commercial Cyber and don’t know anyone out of DC who does commercial work, just Fed.
@pwc2 are you currently in the dc area? There are openings for commercial cyber practice for the McLean office with 81-100% travel, that's what I've been thinking of going for
Which region?
Dc region, for the promotion and salary, why wait till September to get promoted if I can leave now and make more now
Why wait 10 months for a potential promotion if I can get it now and have a nice pay bump (15k), work will always be work, Not sure what I should do
