Debating taking a role that will double OTE and base but will move from an ad tech sales role at a tech company to traditional cpg in store sales. The money is very tempting but not sure I want to pursue cpg sales long term. Should I Ieave or stay put?

If you are truly doubling both OTE and Base. I would 100% go ahead and do it.

I get it’s scary going from the high paying tech sales world into CPG. But you can’t beat getting paid double on both accounts. As long as the company is stable and growing, I would do it.

You should consider different things. It’s not only about the job, it’s about your happiness, mental health, perspective. What the most important value for you? What do you need to obtain the life style you are looking for? Many people need a lot of money to be happy, others need job they like. All depends on costs and benefits

I agree with this, it's just not the number on the paper but what you value and what you want outside of work

What would make you feel happier is that extra cash or a job you feel comfortable staying with long-term. Honestly, it's different for everyone! What's your intuition telling you?

Tried this Santorini retailing for $40. Very concentrated but can’t say I was blown away by it. Volcanic terroir dominates almost to the point of obscurity, and it had strong lemon notes, hints of quince, and sea salt. It clashed with Mexican food (hey I knew that beforehand but didn’t think it would clash THAT bad, and usually pair Mexican with Riesling or Gewürztraminer) but I’m going to Greece soon and wanted to drink Greek wine. I drank half at a BYOB, took the bottle home(cont’d)

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?
