Completely lost by your comment. Deloitte pulled bonuses, PPMDs took a pay cut, drastically reduced promos, no annual increases, no cash awards and carried poor performers for months. Those being separated are given severance packages and transition help. What else do you want? A social welfare program paid for by Deloitte?

And Deloitte is not in trouble. They are out performing many of the other consulting firms. This just happens to be the end of our performance year. It makes sense for leadership to go about the performance year like always and instead of looking at the bottom 2 to 4% like last year they’re looking at the bottom 5%. The timing just worked out

Is it correct to think that if one is subject to termination they will get call this week from talent management . If not they are safe ?

Sadly D8, no. Calls will go until July and I heard there could be a second wave in Fall 🙁

Something’s been weighing on my mind. I messed up in a steering committee & tripped infront of the Sr. Client Stakeholders. I was fired today. What do I do next? I’m a third year associate at a “boutique” firm. I had an interview today for an assistant controller job and it’s working in an industry I’ve worked in a little but not much. They’re fine with that but I’m worrying that I oversold myself. Hey Fb friends - need an advise. My current firm hasn’t stated my GC process yet and with current processing time it appears to be somewhere around 12-15 months time to get PERM approved. In addition my current firm needs leadership approval & they make me sign a reimbursement form in case I quit. On other hand, I have approved i40 from my ex-employer (Big4) who fired me last fall, I don’t know if they will hire me back. Thoughts on Dentsu Aegis? I've received an offer for a role (promotion) and thinking about whether it is a sound move - especially in this environment. They went through furloughs and pay cuts in April due to COVID. I'd be making the move from EY which is a great company to work with - but there is such a long line up to get a promotion, and for roles I've interviewed for internally I get the good ole - you were awesome and it was rly close, but someone was just a better fit.
