Depends on the practice. Tech doesn't most of the time, but you can if you want to be bold.
Seen a mix - some cases distributed early and you expected to present to leadership. Others pure in-head math (you round). And final option where they give you numbers to work with - rounding not an option
Obviously, math is essential
S&O interviews always have math in cases, but aren't to the depth of pre-distributed cases
I've always said case interviews are stupid. They mean nothing. They really don't do a good job of predicting performance or critical thinking ability.
