Just finishing "The Power of Habit" , I'm on the waitlist for atomic at the local library haha
I found that focusing on my sleep routine and sleep quality has made a huge impact on how I feel throughout the day. I read Why We Sleep by Matthew Walker, started tracking my sleep with the Apple Watch app SleepWatch, and prioritized the following:
- Going to bed at the same time every night
- Waking up at the same time every morning
- Limited screen time prior to bed (I replaced screen time with reading or yin yoga)
- 8 hours of sleep per night
One thing that made a huge difference in the beginning of my exercise journey - change into gym clothes as quickly as possible. Put your clothes/shoes on, and all of a sudden you’ve already completed the first part of the activity. (This is also covered in Atomic Habits)

So get off work, change into gym clothes immediately more or less so you're obligated to it. I like it. I may even change at the office when I go in...
Tried this in the past with WFH and ended up napping in gym clothes 😄
