I am starting to see bumps here and there. I just put this cream that my sister gave me that prevents her pimples from growing every time she had one.
My pimples are not because of the dairy, I guess. It's more on the oily foods I ate this holidays. An I will be having more again this NYE. I think I can combat this with green tea and lemon, right?
I used rubbing alcohol for the fatty foods 🤣 and
I heard washing your face with classic clean head and shoulders is good. It has zinc in it. I don't break easily so I haven't tried it.
That's good info, thanks for jumping in and responding.
Yup I don’t drink milk anymore for this reason. Drink tons of water and may want to lay off on wearing heavy makeup if you currently do! The fitish skincare brand which is a cbd company also saved my skin.
Thanks so much! I've been guzzling the water for the past few days, but I probably should also take a break from makeup to give my skin a chance to recover. It's hard to go without makeup when it looks so rough! What products do you use from that brand?
Focus on your gut health! Try to up your probiotics intake and drink a ton of water.
Thank you!! *Adding to cart*
Thank goodness I don't easily break out. My problem would be more like my super dry skin. My lips cracked and skin looks so dehydrated.
I have neutrogena acne face wash on hand for those moments.
Drink tons of water. I use cerave products and their acne foaming face wash works very well for me. I also use acne stickers overnight or even during the day if no one will see my face lol
Ohh yes, those acne stickers can be a lifesaver. That reminds me I need to pick some up tomorrow!
Something I always use that helps me with breakouts is CeraVe. The general cleanser works amazing!
I'm going to have to try that. It's been improving slowly with lots of water, but maybe a new face wash would be helpful too!
Gosh yes! I have been having a lot of pimples from the holidays. I drink green tea to detox.
Yep!! It has been causing me a lot of stress. My mom said I should drink a lot of water.
Oh. I didn't know you could get pimples from dairy. I consumed a lot of oily food during the holidays soI think that is what's causing my skin to act up.
I heard that flax seeds are a great addition to your diet to speed up your metabolism. I mix it in with my morning smoothie so it's easier to get it into my system.
I add liquid chlorophyll to my water every morning. My skin has been doing so great because of it. It's also great for fighting inflammation and is an internal deodorant so those are added bonuses.
Increase your intake of whole grains like quinoa, oats, wild rice, and foods rich in fiber. They're great for flushing out toxins before thry can get the chance to clog your system.
I don't know much about how to detoxify your face from it but I know dry brushing is great for your body as a whole to get your lymph fluids moving.
Get a lymphatic drainage face massage. It'll help with flushing it out, plus it actually feels great.
I just go straight to my dermatologist for this. They know my skin better than I do and whatever works best for it. I usually just get a facial to help calm it down.
It's a tale as old as time...dairy makes my eczema flare up but I have a deep love for cheese so I can't quite quit. It's a constant struggle in my life!
I've read that you need at least 3 weeks to detox. You could start by replacing butter with avocado on your toast. It's a great and healthier alternative.
