Hello Fishes,
I left capegemini on 4th of Feb and I still haven't got my relieving letter as well as experience letter. I'm trying to access my capegemini portal from webvpn.capgemini.com but I'm not able to access that either. Please suggest me what should be done, my next employer is asking for relieving letter.

I've got a job offer from Deloitte Latvia ( Deloitte Central Europe) for the Riga City. The gross compensation is 3000€/monthly along with one time 2500€ as a relocation allowance with other benefits like 45€/month as Telephone reimbursement etc & other usual Deloitte benefits. Currently I've a ctc of 11 LPA at EY & 3.5 YOE. Is it worth accepting the offer after all calculations. #Deloitte #Europe #Latvia . Deloitte EY . Kindly provide some insights if u have any .

It's really tough right now because most jobs are hiring people who have already done that exact job before. The market will shift, and it will get easier as this change is very common. Make the case for your transferable skills. Make sure your messages about your desire to switch sectors are strong. Reach out to contacts at the companies you apply to, if you have any.
This is super interesting, I’ve been noticing this as well and have been passed up for verticals (like spirits/f&b) despite having similar experience. Do you have any idea why the current market is looking for an exact fit versus someone who has varied experience?
I’d say one of the biggest things I see from those wanting to make the shift from agency to in-house roles is a lack of understanding what happens internally at a company. So I’d recommend making sure you understand how decisions are made in-house, how the comms work plays into the larger business objectives, and how to cross collaborate with teams.
Often in an agency, our only touch point is with the comms lead. This can give a diluted view into the internal work structure, conversations and challenges they face day-to-day.
Once you understand how comms work (and is viewed) within a business, you can better position your skills/abilities to address the company’s needs.
You are right, the job market is tough right now. Something that helped me to go in house was connecting with people who had worked at the same agency as me, even if we weren’t there at the same time. I think people feel better about hiring someone whose background seems familiar.
Understanding how a company runs as opposed to an agency can be tough. Overall I found the pace easier though!
I just made that switch. It took 8 months of job hunting, but I went from agency to in-house. I focused on the skills I do best, - media relations and content development - and found a company that needed someone in-house to offer that skill set.
