Good Books:

Go for No by Andrea Waltz and Richard Fenton

Sell or be Sold by Grant Cardone (this was my personal favorite, I would recommend the audiobook. Grant Cardone narrates the book and gives even more info and examples)

Closers Survival Guide by Grant Cardone

Not particularly books however, I just started listening to Blinkist a couple of days ago and its short audiobooks and has on all types of them including career advice.

Anything by Jeb Blount, and he has the podcast, Sales Gravy, too. Anthony Iannarino is good too.

Sandler is a solid program

I’m a new CSM (9 months) and I work at a company that doesn’t invest much in its CSM team. I’ve been struggling because as time goes on I feel more and more like a token hire. We have no play book/structure, no CSM tool and I’m current organizing all 95 of my clients on spreadsheets while also handling presales trials with a salary under 50k.

Long story short: I’m searching for mentorship or to be pointed in the direction of a good course so I can help the clients I do have while I’m here

I have over 12 years in B2B sales/sales management experience along with a graduate degree. I am wanting to shift gears and I am at a point where I can invest time in myself to learn through practical experience. The new industry I am wanting to pursue is real estate investment. I have read all the books but want some hands on experience on the property management side. How could I best leverage my skills for a role in this, and what should my expectations be for negotiation in compensation?

I'm relatively new to stock market investments and have tried to build a balanced portfolio for the long term. Should I hold the stocks for long term or does it make sense to book profits in between ?

I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into/learn more about real estate investing? Or how I can have enough knowledge on the topic to be able to invest wisely when the time comes?

I had a job interview for a role that I really want. The hiring manager scheduled me for an interview and did not show up. Emailed me an hour later stating that he got super busy and couldn’t attend, and would like to reschedule. This is a major red flag, but I can’t help but feel that I am missing out since this role pays 50% over what I currently make. Should I let the recruiter know? What’s your take on this?
