Does anyone have ideas for teaching Romeo & Juliet while in a cohort learning model?
*I usually assign parts, students read and act out, I switch my room to reflect “family” groups, and generally do a lot of interactive lessons with language, small group work, etc. as we read to help with language and comprehension. With half of my class online, I am struggling to revise my plans. I am open to any suggestions!

You could check out My Shakespeare. They have an annotated online version, videos, and “interviews” with the characters. It’s pretty cool. Think they even have a curriculum guide.

How do you best support your students who do not speak English? I have four ELL’s in my 6th grade ELA class and they don’t receive push-in or pull-out Bilingual support during my class. Do you pull them for small group to provide instruction separately or do you just try to use google translate to translate your lessons and the work? Any best practices? I’d love some help.

High school special class (self-contained) teachers: What do you use for planning? I’ve always been an inclusive teacher, so I followed the plan book of my co-teacher. I can’t even decide if I should go digital or paper-based let alone make a final decision! I’ll be teaching 9-11th grade math and 11th grade science. The 11th grade classes I can very much do whatever I (or the student) want/need…there isn’t a set curriculum

Did anyone else adopt the new Florida Wonders curriculum? We just adopted it this school year, and I teach 4th grade. My team and I have not found a good flow, schedule, or whatever you want to call it. We feel like it teaches too many skills in one lesson, and we are not able to truly teach anything “deep” enough for students to master. Does anyone have any insight? What do you do? Do you like the curriculum? Why or why not? Would you be willing to share what you do weekly/daily? Thanks!

Would you mind helping an art director who also lectures in art direction schools please: what has been the most exciting or memorable or useful lecture in your Art Direction school/course as students? I want to give real value they can spend professionally and not blah blah, so I am interested in what you people have considered a valuable input.
Please no suggestions like "Change your studies until it's too late" (because I have already done that lesson haha --and they are still there)

What kind of lesson plan forms do you use?
