Does anyone here have a fear of public speaking? Even in zoom calls I get incredibly nervous speaking if it’s a big group of people. What is weird is I am (what I would consider) a very good interviewer and am generally great one on one, but when I’m presenting to group of say 5 or more people I just get incredibly nervous, my voice and body starts shaking, and I always feel like I’m embarrassing myself. I’m wondering how I can get over this as I get further in my career.

I am looking at other government jobs.
1. When I fill out my job experience, do I need to include the last ten years or every job I’ve had? I don’t have anything to hide, but I especially in my late teen years I was a job hopper.
2. I have worked seasonally in retail to make ends meet. Do I need to put this on my work experience when applying?

Cold applied for an awesome role, had an interview with hiring manager, recruiter, and given a pretty hefty assignment that I’m really proud of nailing. They followed up with an email asking for 4-5 days that I am available for a full day of interviews. Amazon recruiter reached out and wants to know my general compensation expectations before first interview. Very little info available on role but seeing $150k-$250k total compensation reported. Is this too wide of a range to give them?

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. To everyone working in claims in the entire country! It’s been a minute since I worked in claims. And never for this particular company. But is this shaming the new way to manage WFH.?
