Does anyone know the current comp range for a senior fund controller at a bank and inversely at a mid-sized fund (HCOL)? Have about 12 YOE in a combo of public and private. Any info on breakdown between base and bonus would also be helpful.

Not sure about bank, but assume you would be the top person at a fund other than the CFO. You know this but base is fixed/lower at most places since bonus can be multiples of salary. I would guess 150-200 base, all in at least 280-300. I would target 320 or more.

Thanks, this is helpful. Yes, would be the top person other than the CFO and likely managing a team of 2-4 people.

I have seen some large size fund managers have a base range of 220 to 250 with about a 100k bonus.

Yes that sounds right. Large shops can afford to pay a higher base because they have the mgmt fees to cover it. Smaller ones are bonus heavy in case they have a bad year. It’s a specialized skill set so everywhere pays decent, if you’re good. It depends what you’re looking for, stability vs. growth vs. upside. Also it’s easier to get bits of carry at smaller shops.

Expecting an offer from both Deloitte India and Capgemini.
Deloitte India - Senior Consultant

Capgemini has verbally promised me 9 LPA but the offer is yet to be released.
Deloitte India has not yet communicated any offer, neither verbal nor formal.

I am more inclined towards joining Deloitte India as it is a bigger position than Capgemini.
