What do they provide beyond the app? Feel like the app makes it pretty clear
They have a unique approach of equal sector weighting (Financials, Utilities, Tech, etc.) instead of indexing. They do it by selecting a handful (20-40) of individual stocks to represent the sector. Thus no mutual funds or fund fees. They do charge a flat fee of <1% though.
I had the call with one of their advisors and was intrigued about it but wanted to research more before deciding to pull the trigger. According to their numbers their approach would have beat traditional indexing over the long term. Curious to hear others that have worked with them.
Get the app. Avoid the advisor
The app helps to track your accounts, cash flow, budget etc. The advisory service is a typical investment advisor that charges a management fee. There’s a $100k minimum investment to be eligible.
Just say no to management fees. I tried another company’s management services and regretted the money I parted with to pay for their salaries. Worthless
A1- also had a pitch call with them and found the approach to be interesting.
WM1 - which company did you use?
Researched chase/jpm, citi, and bofa/Merrill. They all looked the same so went with Citi which had the lowest threshold to qualify and some perks. They made back all their “perk” money in management fees.
