Does anyone work at a firm where only the attorneys get offered a 401k and company match with a legit company but everyone else only gets offered the state 401k if they want it that isn’t even affiliated w the firm & no watch bc it’s not through the firm? This kinda feels like discrimination that only attorneys get offered this benefit and the rest of us don’t.. is this common?

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

Paralegals: My firm is looking for a paralegal, and I see the job posting advertising the salary as $65-$75k, with benefits. Is this a good salary for a paralegal (Greater LA area)? Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work.
