825, and it took a lot of discipline and work.
1- Always pay on time.
2- Pay off balance monthly, if possible. If not possible, always pay more than the minimum payment.
3- Try not to exceed half of your limit with any card unless you pay off the entire balance monthly.
4- Don't cancel cards, even ones you don't use. If a card issuer threatens to cancel for non-use, buy something cheap once a year to keep the card active.
5- Be patient. It takes time.
I’m at 805 and cancel cards fairly often if I don’t use them regularly or to churn.
How old are you and since how long did you have credit cards ?
I’m at 806. Ive have two credit cards for 10 years plus, never max them out, pay them off in full and never carry a balance. Took a bit to build up the credit.
816 - 825 (varies) but my dad opened cards for us in college in our name and paid the bills (books expenses etc) and I've always paid on time.
