PwC PTO capped after 167 (?) hours. When I left, I got paid all unused 167 hours. As long as you have PTO balance, you will get paid all. Good luck.
176 (22 days). Ignore that 45 hr a week nonsense! Just imagine you putting 8 hrs a day on your time sheet as vacation and that’s what you get paid
Coach
No, but payout is usually driven off of 45 hour work week and not 40.
Coach
Double check the contract. Usually at the firms it’s salary/45 hr week to get the $/hr for PTO payout.

Agree this depends on state laws. California has one of the best policies, but otherwise it’s up to the companies policy assuming it’s state legal.
I could be wrong, but I believe the PTO payout is also based on when it was accrued. I.e. if you are a manager now, but accrued 80 hours as an associate and you never went under 80 hours of PTO at any point, 80 of your hours will be paid out at your associate pay
Coach
No it’s not at Associate pay if you are a Manager. At 176 hours it is basically 22 work days = one month at your current pay.
If you have maxed out at 176 hours, you would receive that gross payment for 176 hours.
