@DD1 most people are on site at a client, our clients just tend to be local
Dd1 it depends per client or project. I've seen most projects among various markets ask for people to be on-site m-Thursday
@DD1 yeah, you get to expense any costs above what it would cost you to get your home office
A lot of Chicago's clients are out in the burbs. You might end up driving quite a bit depending on where you get staffed.
Work life balance is generally good.

@SC4 I’m interviewing now in Chicago. Do you think I’ll need to buy a car? Or is there an option to rent a car on a project?
I live in Western/Central NY (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse). Anyone know if there is any consistent client work up there? Slalom or other firms? Or does Slalom require you to be in a big city?
Slalom doesn't have a local office in upstate NY. You probably need to be closer to NYC or Boston.
