How exactly does it change you
KPMG1 NYC and I take subways, if I take trains i Mumbai it’s literally like putting my life on risk and I was 21 yrs in Mumbai so don’t you try to preach me! 😅
I too thank your parents for giving you this life. Please stay in the US and don’t visit India, win win.
Such a silly comment OP, which is more telling of your upbringing - was a 24 yo in mumbai and a 26 yo in NYC and there is literally nothing that cannot be done in mumbai that can be done in NYC. The problem may have been with how you were treated at home which is why you are loving your freedom here.
So traffic is your yardstick for happiness?
I do it very often. We go home 2-3 times a year and I’d say I visit at least 4-5 Indian cities. Nothing compares to that moms smile, happeniess on my dads face.... it’s different when they come here. I’d take any jam and bullshit for that feeling. Sorry that’s just me.
You are too young to consider all aspects of US vs. India life. I forgive your innocence my child!
Like what ? Stop being patronizing and provide a few examples
You can get a driver for the traffic.
And have you received a hospital bill here in the US
I have a driver, it’s the time it takes to commute that irritates me!
Where in the US are you? Try driving to manhattan from the suburbs, Atlanta, Bay Area during rush hr. I think it’s more the traffic, density of population and the dust that makes it harder
I do that. I was referring to ppl living in suburbs not connected by subway or with poor NJ transit / MTA frequency
I agree with you! But I don’t think “traffic” is the right word. LA and NYC have crazy traffic too. The problem is the general lawlessness in India, which applies equally to the roads. Ie I’m okay to wait in traffic jams, but not okay with people constantly driving on the wrong side or cars coming within 1 inch of each other. It just seems like law means nothing in India 😬
