What’s the best source of free CPE?
Hi, I belong to the corporate bowl but I have snuck in to ask if anyone would be interested in assisting the Ukranian Crisis Legal Aid organisation that has been set up by a Hungarian law firm to pair up refugees and lawyers. The website is https://ukrainelegalaid.org and it was set up by KNP LAW Nagy Koppany Lencs & Partners (who I am not affiliated with). This is all pro bono. Feel free to PM me, especially if you are English qualified!

Your gonna take a fall in seniority? You think you deserve the same job title even though you are coming in less relevant experience and skills?
What in the world is biz dev
Well, to answer your question, business developers are responsible for helping organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. Their duties include coordinating with company executives, sales and marketing professionals, reviewing current market trends and proposing new business ideas to improve revenue.
I think that as long as your pay goes up, falling in seniority wouldn’t be so bad. You’re essentially getting more pay for less responsibilities. Plus, even if you’re in your late 20s, you still have a lot of time to make it up that corporate ladder!
Lol what exit opportunity is “biz dev”?
It really depends on how you swing it. I’m not quite sure what “too much of a fall” is. But yes, the average person should expect too
I have an offer as a senior risk analyst vs fintech consultant, still thinking 🤔
It’s 6000 higher than the consulting role
I work in risk business development. Your technical skills will come in handy when working on proposals
Hello, SA 1! We'd love to hear more about it. Please tell us more.
I agree with SA1. I think risk bus devt is your best option right now. You won't take too much of a fall in seniority either.
FP&A is probs the better transition over biz dev, or some kind of consulting. Personally wouldn't go into biz dev as I don't find it super interesting
