Exit opportunities from Transaction advisory at a Big4 firm? (Non-accounting, more commercial ones please).

Any advice on how to transition into healthcare IT without experience? I have a MS and MPH. Burned out on patient services roles. Hoping to make a transition before the year out. Actively seeking new opportunities.

Partners and MDs - a partner is trying to recruit me into a new practice they are building out. They have senior leadership support but still facing uphill political battle. It'll be a good opportunity for my path to partner if the new practice is a success. But I'm very much concerns about the downside risk. What would you suggest I consider before making the decision? Is being a radiation therapist a good career? I have a nutrition and exercise science bachelors degree and was thinking to do an associate’s in radiation therapy. Would I be able to do a bachelor’s in radiation therapy if I transfer over some of my credits? is this a career with good status?

So I left my medical interpreter job back in February due to differences with management and I’m working to make the jump to another field such as Higher Ed and/or Tech. Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Expecting an offer this week or early next week, but want to know when you start negotiating the salary? When you receive the call from the company or wait until receiving the formal offer letter? Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.

What would you take?

Is applying a few days before the “Apply by” date too late? Do most decisions get made early on/they don’t wait for all applications before interviewing/hiring?

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.

I started a position a month and a half ago at a large holding company. My manager left after 2 weeks of training me, and his replacement is likely going to be another senior accountant. I am contemplating a move to industry working at a VC, Tax Director role east coast. Looks like it will be primarily overseeing compliance with some aspect of advising on structures etc. There is another tax reporting head above me.

The potential comp is the low 200k with a 10% bonus (still higher than what I am making). I feel this is pretty low for VC standards but maybe my standards are also too high. I have generally seen 25% bonus with carry.

Any thoughts?
