Curious what other junior associates at PR agencies are making off the bat? I earned my master’s degree last year and accepted a JA role for $36K. Recently, my salary was adjusted to $40K due to having been on the lower end of the pay spectrum for my role. Wondering if my new salary is more aligned with others at my level.

Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?

Currently 1 YOE tech consulting at Deloitte looking to make a hop to more strategy type roles and came across the strategy analyst development program- 1. is this only for fresh undergrads from specific schools or would I be able to apply? 2. I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

Do you all think I will be rejected?

Currently at Big 4. Have offers for a PL/Principal at MBB and for a VP role at a Fortune 20 company. The VP role is more interesting and comp a bit better but I’m told would accelerate faster at MBB. The initial plan was to end up at MBB. What’s the best for future flexibility?

MBB Human Capital or FAANG Product Manager? Both are in NYC and compensation is similar. I have 7YOE in risk management at an industry specific (tech) boutique investment bank.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
