It depends on your team. Your firm should have a list of alternatives you can do to fulfill firm's need, if needed, we don't need it in Advisory. Project Management Professional and Certified Fraud Examiners are the 2 most common I've seen.
@OP how about a break?
@OP Perhaps subconsciously you don't really want it. Depends on the career route you're headed and if you really need to have it, then have the passion for it. Otherwise, like what PwC1 said, if you're in advisory you won't need it. I took CFA 1 twice and failed it (and was in asset management) I knew my heart wasn't in it. Now in Advisory and couldn't be more happier. Good luck to whatever you choose!

@OP it's not worth it. Switch now that you can because once you're in it and you have invested so much time and money for CPA you will probably stay just cause...
