Hi Everyone I have joined FIS one month back only, I am just Okay with my current project. I see here everybody is leaving FIS and telling it's not good. I have changed Infosys within 7 months. Now, I don't want to switch this early. Can somebody tell me about the good points, pros in FIS. I really want to change my mindset so that I feel happy here and can give back something to organization.FIS Global

Restaurant recommendations. I haven’t updated this list In awhile. This list was valid in 2018-2019
Rising Star
Frenchman street was where locals hung out. Think I stayed at a Marriott downtown. Between august heat and hurricane drinks I don’t remember
Rising Star
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton.
I worked in NOLA for a few years, the city is your oyster for food spots. Shaya is the one restaurant I mention by name to everyone because it may not be at the top of your list, but it is the best Mediterranean you can have outside of the Mediterranean
How old are your kids - I also loved Dat dog
Pro
For a family stay, you want to be away from Bourbon St. Try the Ace Hotel (great cocktails and two good restaurants right in the building - Seaworthy and Josephine Estelle) or the Renaissance Warehouse District (across the street from Lucy’s Retired Surfer Bar, which the kids will love for tacos & kitschy decor, and 1 block from Meril, which is a great small-plates joint from Emeril Legasse). The big Marriott on Canal, Sheraton, JW Marriott, Westin, Crowne Plaza, and Le Méridien are also nice.
Restaurants…there are so many, but some of my faves are Irene’s, the Pelican Club, Annunciation, Turkey & the Wolf (lunch), Cochon Butcher (lunch), Italian Barrel, GW Fins, Ralph’s on the Park, Mr. B’s, Galatoire’s, Ye Olde College Inn, La Petite Grocery, Vyoone’s, Stanley (brunch), Clover Grill or Camellia Grill (diner/dive for breakfast or lunch), Verti Mart, Killer Po’ Boys for “gourmet” po’ boys, Mahony’s or Parkway Bakery for traditional po’ boys, Justine, Compere Lapin, Mulate’s/Tujague’s/Muriel’s for real Creole cooking, Charlie’s or Desi Vega for steaks, Toast for breakfast/brunch… if I lived in NOLA I would weigh 500 lbs.
There’s not a huge blues or hard rock scene in NOLA, but for basic 70s/80s/90s guitar rock, hit up the Famous Door on Bourbon. Their cover bands are usually pretty good and every now & then someone you’ve heard of will drop in for a song or two. For better live music, try Tipitina’s, Howlin’ Wolf, Maple Leaf, Rock ‘n’ Bowl, Frenchmen’s Street, or just Google “live music in NOLA tonight.” For a non-live metal club, hit up the Dungeon and try a Dragon’s Blood shot. It’s black, and horrible, but you have to do at least one.
