My DOJ is 30th Oct22

I joined KGS in feb 2022, we recently got a mail regarding timeline of appraisal and bonus payout from the partner. My reporting manager hasn't yet reached out to me regarding goal setting, not sure if that happens here. Can you pls help me to know what all things we need to do from our end for the appraisal cycle and bonus payout? Since I'm new to this company KPMG KPMG India

I am working in TCS with total year of experience as 3.8 Yrs. I am having an offer of 14 + 1 LPA ( joining bonus ) from prod based company in Mumbai. I got selected in CTS. Can CTS provide me 20 LPA with this experience. ??

It depends... alot of internal L&D roles overlap with or are housed withing Talent Development -- think content stategy, facilitation, instructional design, etc. However, many companies also combine Talent Development & Talent Management (e.g., learning ops/analytics, career planning, etc.). So if you're interested in L&D/ traditional Talent Development, you probably have alot the base technical knowledge, but a deep dive and refresh of different learning methodologies and instuctional design tools/techniques will be helpful regardless of where you specialize to ensure you speak the same language. Also, because these roles sit within HR there is less value on systems/process learning that's standard for ERPs and more on learning for soft skills or the topics you'll see in Talent Management. Given the market conditions I would say there's even more emphasis on this experience than usual so do your best to pull that out/highlight it where possible. Lastly, there's more of a range in salaries and OD/HR in general is not always compensated as well in industry comparer to the consulting world. It's possible, but it may take some time to find the role or move around to get there. Hope this helps!
That really helped!! Thanks for your insights. I’m realizing part of the reason I like working in training/OCM is being near the technology. This gives me more to think about before pivoting to traditional L&D.
