2.5 years and an MS in Business Analytics - 105k as base
Two years to consultant from undergrad, started at 76 now at 110 as a second year consultant (three years in total). No graduate degree.
Doubt it, they would have to have at least 5 years to come in at over 100k as a consultant...at that point, sad they'd only come in at a consultant level
A1, 100k doesn't go very far these days. There are new hires getting offers in the 90s
2 years MS in MIS 108K as base
I hit 100 with 3 years from analyst and no advanced degree
MS, came in as C. No experience. 105K
2,1,1. Be very careful with negotiating at such a low level as consultants are generally pretty replaceable. The firm is only going to pay you the minimum they feel they have to in order to keep you and only what they feel you are worth/could be replaced for.
A1 really? I came to ACN with well over 100 as a C
@D2: curious as to if it was through regular raises/promotion or if you negotiated a bit at a certain time? What were your YE's? .... Everyone else, thanks for your inputs!
Haha well I was wrong, I knew ppl at consultant at Deloitte who weren't getting those kinds of offers, at least in advisory. @A2, Consultant at ACN is equivalent to senior consultant at Deloitte
Thank you A-,A2, and A3! ... D2 that is a very helpful tip thank you.. I don't feel the need to negotiate if I feel I am being compensated equally, but then again if you are asking to be compensated equally I wouldn't even call that negotiating in the first place
D3, seems like you did it right the first go-around. How did you manage to come in as C with no prior exp? I was told I had to come in as BTA :(
Advisory doesn't have BTA
He could be in advisory.
Not advisory. I think it just depends on the MS program you come out of
