My resume got shortlisted for Operations Associate/Engineer-Amazon Managed Services role. I am an experienced AWS engineer with 5YOE.I feel like this role will be degrading in nature for me. Is it worth joining for this position. I would love to join Amazon based on my experience and skill set. But Not to some position which doesn't require AWS experience.

Lol…acting as if MBB are the only good jobs in consulting. Love it

I don't think many other jobs will elevate your career trajectory as fast as a few years in consulting. You could technically be a director in 8 years, which many people never achieve in the corporate world.
This is such a poorly defined question. You're clearly too good for anything non-MBB.
What do you want to do long term? The answer is probably yes.
This is a highly subjective question. What do you want to do long term? Do you want to be a monk? If so, probably not worth it. If you want to be a partner at a large consulting firm one day then it’s the best option. There’s a lot of in between there. It sounds like you’re looking at it from a purely prestige perspective. If that’s the case - having done 5 years in corporate America - I can promise you no one cares. Outside of this bubble most people aren’t really fond of consultants and even MBV isn’t the massive career accelerator many expect

As a tenured consultant I’d say no - the start up unicorn is more “worth it”
I exited consulting to a startup, consulting background definitely helped a lot

Was my thought process
find me another job apart from tech that pays 120k+ with 2 YOE
A degree in Petroleum Engineering is not the same as a BS in BS. Hard skills pay more at those entry levels.
After 5 years at Accenture I took a job with my client for > 300k /yr. + great WLB. So yeah, I'd say it's worth it.
