I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.

In my opinion, you've got to want the added responsibility, higher expectations, and people management. If you don't want those things, then no amount of money is going to be worth it. You'll be miserable and may even under-perform. There are higher-paying IC jobs around, but most of the time in product marketing you'll be managing a team at the director level. For me, that's a big part of the attraction of the job.
I want those things but I also want to be compensated for it.
What are the higher-paying IC jobs you’re referring to?
Titles really depend on the company/size and structure as well as what Product Marketing means in a particular business- which can be completely different. I had a Senior PMM title for about 4 years before being a Director. The factors that influence the jump in my mind are:
-transition from tactical projects/artifacts like sales sheets, battle cards, to building holistic programs that are custom made and align with the strategic goals of the business
-Being involved with roadmap, pricing, or future investment strategy conversations with executives or C-level stakeholders. Having constant and ongoing communication with company leaders who proactively bring you into their team’s plans and include product marketing at early stage ideas.
-managing people/team beyond the day to day requests by setting an example (player/coach style) where you’re building initiatives, getting multi-functional support, and driving them to an end state where they are self sustainable without you’re involvement.
-having a direct connection to client facing teams and clients as a continued source of knowledge and assistance. Relentlessly, networking with sales teams to understand their challenges and how to overcome prospect/client objections.
These are just a few differences between a Senior PMM and a Director level and above in this discipline.

7 years as PM, 3 years as SPM, 4.5 years as director, then VP. All at the same company.
As an SPM I had greater decision making responsibility and a small budget, as director I had broader strategic responsibility, a team of 7 and full P&L. So fairly big difference.

PM - started at $50k in 2006 (NYC - 3 years out of college), grew over the 7 years to $95k - 10% bonus (probably should have started as JPM, but I was the only PM in the org); SPM was €95k (central Germany) with 15% and $20k equivalent RSUs, grew at cost of living increases only; Director started at $145k with 23% bonus and $40k RSUs, grew to 170k (North Carolina), VP was $200k plus 30% bonus and $100k in mixed LTIs (RSUs, options and deferred cash payments). Left the company after 16 years and am now on $235k with 40% bonus and $90k in RSUs based in upper Midwest in a role that is a VP and GM of a business unit in everything but name (total time as a VP - 3 years).
All of the above is for NASDAQ traded companies.
3 years as a PMM, then 3 years as a Sr. PMM, then a move to Director PMM but I had to change companies. It was about a 40K/yr. base pay increase.
Was the increased responsibility worth the 40k/year? Are you an IC or people manager as Director?
It probably varies by industry. But in my part of the industry, if you have a technical background, Systems Engineers, jobs in architecture or the CTO's office can be high-paying IC jobs. If you don't have a technical background then roles in sales or partner marketing can be good-paying IC roles. Of the top of my head, I'm sure there are others.
