Looking for advice! I was approved to work remotely but my salary will decrease 10%. I received two raises so the decrease brings me down to my previous salary. I was told that it’s due to the cost of labor in the area.

Hi all - Trying to pivot into Cybersecurity/Infosec after 7 + years of experience in Network Engineering. No security related certifications. I have enough work experience in network security to match 60-70% of job requirements for infosec positions. Capable to get CEH/OSCP certifications in a few months, but want to wait until I get my foot into the door before investing 2-3K on these certs. Any advice for me will be greatly appreciated.

Currently going to school for my cannabis certification but I rarely see any jobs that offer cannabis research. I currently work in a lab/greenhouse environment and would love to continue that line of work with hemp/cannabis. Does anyone freeze with deadlines, and if so what works for you? Whenever I have a deadline my brain freezes and refuses to work. It used to be that my brain worked overtime right before a deadline - now it refuses to work until after a deadline. I think this is because all of my deadlines are internal and I’ve never had a partner look at anything immediately after a deadline. This is affecting my work obviously - any tips would be useful and appreciated!
