Need some feedback! So I was forced to move jobs about 6 months ago due to reorg and the new leader opting to bring their existing EA with them, without even meeting me. If stayed at the company but accepted an offer for a job outside of the department I was in. I’ve now been asked by a manager from my old department to apply for a job they’re opening that would be a 2 step promotion. She thought she got my managers permission to approach me (see comments)

Got offered a role at a Middle East office at BCG - haven't accepted yet.
Anyway that I can transfer to a north American office (my current location) before I join? SO can't move to Dubai and while applying they didn't interview me for my current location just for the Dubai one.

I understand this may be a big ask, and I'm happy to interview again if need be.

The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical. I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.

I feel stuck as a Strategy Manager and want to make a career pivot at 35. But have no idea what i should do? M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title.
