Have an internship next summer in a vertical I don’t want to work in and is completely unrelated to where I want to end up. However the firm is strong in PE. To try and break into that side after my internship at the same company, would it be more beneficial to take on a (very small boutique) PE internship or an IB internship this fall?

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. Need advice- Got into an at fault accident a while back, car is being fixed by insurance coverage over $10k. Now my rental got hit by something with a large star damage to the windshield and will have to be replaced since it larger than a coin . Scared if I tell insurance my rate will go up even more. Have final round interviews at BCG tomorrow. I'm at S& right now at the SA level. Father had a sudden health issue come up this week and it's got me off my game.
