Getting this off my chest… few folks in my leadership randomly talk about how they had MBB offers out of business school but they picked big 4 strategy. 😑 Like don’t they think about how this almost sounds incredible to believe.. It sounds like they need to name drop. That’s my rant.

Do you always need an MBA to get into MBB?

How much do people make on average in VC after 2-3 years out of undergrad in MBB/IB?

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Or should I wait until I somehow gain more hands on SF experience?

One of my junior associates recently resigned and I've been trying to make an exit myself for several months now. The job market has been really competitive but I am getting closer to getting a new job and moving on. The firm culture isn't great and work-life balance is non existent. My latest LinkedIn annoyance is the people posting about their kids wearing their company swag or seeing their company logo/name out and about (as in sponsorships).

I feel like a failure as a parent at times - my youngest daughter is extremely anxious about middle school and in the first week has already had two emotional breakdowns. She is so worried about people picking on her and not having friends. I have reached out to the counselor and principal with hopes to get her some support in school, but I can’t do anything to make it better. I feel like I should be able to do more than encourage her but I know some battles she had to fight on her own.
