Has anyone been successful in negotiating the schedule on a global pregnancy bill? My provider won't bill by visit and split the global cost into four payments all due by the 28th week. I don't understand how that's legal since it is so off the calendar of services and crosses calendar years (and insurance coverage), where most costs are incurred at the end of pregnancy with increased visit frequency and delivery.

I have a question for my fellow PI paralegals in Texas. TPCIGA requires that we submit all medical bills through the clients insurance before proceeding further. The client in question has Aetna. I sent the bills with a cover letter to Aetna via certified mail. I am having so much trouble getting a status on said claim. Does anyone here have experience with that and can assist me? There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.

In an auto accident trial, can you inform the jury in any way that the at-fault driver had insurance? I have a hard time believing a jury would award 7-figure damages if they thought the little old lady defendant had to personally pay. After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

My parents are dependent on me. My 62 yo dad and 57yo mom do some part time work and makes $1000/mon. Dad has some health complications like diabetes, high bp, genetic heart issues, liver problems etc. Does it make sense to get a life insurance for him - 20 yr term, $1M coverage. Premium is around $500. I am thinking I can pay the premium but if something happens to dad, it will help my mom pay be self-sufficient

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched.
