I relocated with my family to Ireland recently, one month ago, and while I got a lot of screening calls with recruiters, I did not hear back from any of them after our interview. I am still on the process of getting my work permit and I am very clear about this during the interviews, but I suspect that this is the reason why I am not getting any call back. Any tips on the first screening call with recruiters? Should I touch base with them after our interviews?

I have been working in healthcare clinics and health techs for a few years now. I’m an independent consultant. Bust, a friend of mine referred me to a big bank job. The role is of data governance manager. What should I know for the interview, or how can I prepare for it? Any thoughts? They told me I don’t need financial background. Data is data, but they wanted to know metadata management and how do I build frameworks/implement enterprise systems.

I don't understand how they get value from You have never wanted to "tell someone off" AGREE or DISAGREE or Would you rather Make Art or Go out to a social setting There has to be some kind of Jedi mind tricks right. I mean who would say I have never in my life wanted to tell someone off. Are they looking for honesty? Any HR people who can tell us what the "grades" look like? Interviewed for a sr. PM last Thursday. Was scheduled for 30min but we went to an hour and had a really good conversation. The questions I got asked I was told the answers were perfect by the hiring manager. I felt really good coming out of it but then followed up with an email thanking them for the time the next day and I never received a response or next steps. Am I thinking too much into it or is it not a good sign?

What should be done when HR tries to lowball you during salary discussion based on current CTC? How to ask for more hike without counter offer? Is there a chances of getting rejected if we stick to our demand? And if we have counter offer will they agree for more like 50% more on counter offer?
