Guys today in KPMG interview the interviewer blasted me for having one offer and trying for others. Then he started to say knowledge gap, KPMG cannot pay as per your demand for your knowledge.

Hi Fishes,
I have been with TCS for 16+ years now. Currently Iam serving notice. The higher offered packed is not very great but still is 80% hike and is from Publicis Sapient .
TCS is trying to retain me and giving slightly less package but also offering CON promotion with which it will almost equal the offer. It's really confusing now. Is Publicis Sapient a better option or continuing with Tata Consultancy ?
Where can I find openings in Deloitte Monitor and Strategy&?
I see S& openings in the PWC careers page but I think those are all part of PWC AC. Do they have an India practice? Deloitte Monitor I can't find any either but I suppose that's because there are no openings

Greetings Fishes, Please help me with narrowing down an offer. Offers: Cognizant : 19.5
Valuelabs : 20 fixed
Betsol : 23 LPA
Publicis Re:sources: 23LPA fixed
EY India : 21LPA
YoE: 3.5 Tech Stack: React
I'm personally getting inclined towards EY. I have heard of the bad wlb there. I'm fine with some level of effort but not worst wlb as I'm looking for learning and I've not worked with any big names before as well. Or should I ask any company to match highest offer?

Dude don't worry and continue applying.
How long have you known this guy, just 30 mins or 60 mins? Right. But you are letting him effect your decisions that will probably last for more than a year. Forget about this chutiya and continue applying
I gave interview for SAP MM consultant (3 YOE) in KPMG India 3 weeks back and cleared technical round, partner round and later salary discussion with HR also done. Where salary was mutually agreed by HR and all the documents where submitted as per HR request to process the offer letter. After 2 weeks when I called HR for the status, she said approval is pending and you can expect the offer by next week. Then next after a week when I called HR is saying sorry we can’t move ahead with your candidature. I asked Wat is the reason, she just hang up the call.
Thay just got another one much cheaper. Not your fault.
Hey don feel low at all, its your right to try as many companies as you want. People working in these BIG 4 tagged companies think no one is smarter than them in consultancy IT.
Please try for good Prod companies. You can even give a try at EPAM systems India, which is a growing engineering company, and also have received best workplace tag.
Good Luck on your job search and career!
I have had a similar experience with KPMG, not sure why do they make unprofessional people take interviews. The interviewer in my case was Full of biases and had extreme superiority complex as he is employed in a big4
You should have simply blasted him. No matter what never let anyone take you for granted.
he's probably a cranky old fool who is just unhappy in his life and lashing out at you. It is logical that anybody would like to have the upper hand in negotiations with multiple offers. One person shouldn't justify your perception of the whole company. Keep giving interviews until the end of your notice period and never settle for less
Kpmg did that with me too when I revoked their shitty offer. Started talking about morals and shit. 4 months later I had a kickass offer with another company. Pls don't go for TCS infy and all these hardcore indian management companies. Life is hell there
Us chutiye ka package kam hoga
Teri expectations dekh kar jal gyi uski isliye teri gand marne laga
Inka kaam hi demotivate karna hota hai.... You should come back stronger by developing more skills. Take courses online and take skill tests. Prove them how smart you are. Never rely on their knowledge base. Show yours. Cz there's only one of you.
You are working in Compliance department ?
Seems interviewer not professional at all. His role is to take the interview ,not to discuss about the salary, gap. U should report to kpmg
Assume ur interviewer is manager, now in his/her current cycle even getting various feedbacks, if he is not getting promotion, won't he be carrying offer letter of other company and show it to his current org. Bringing an offer letter is judgemental, but if your current org. is not giving u worth, its ok to do, as all people are doing the same..
I had bitter experience with KPMG.
1) First round interview was taken by a less experience person.
2) After it another round of interview same like the first one.
3) Afterward manager called up for next round and instead of any interview directly spoke about location which he has is Mumbai and when I told i have clearly mentioned beforehand that I am interested for Bangalore location while in HR shortlisting why now change ,then he bargain like if you say yes then I will send you offer immediately or else I will hold you.
And when I discussed with HR she told there is no postion there for my experience and your only option is take Mumbai location otherwise forget it.
HR don't care about location i guess.
You should have asked him a simple question.
" If this is how you motivate your peers and juniors to work with you I am sorry I wont be happy to work with you." and then simply exit the interview. You could have even given the same feedback to the hr when she reaches out to you.
People like these try to be oversmart and unless you show them you wont bend over they will keep on being a d**k
call them back and abuse them brutally.

Why did you tell me that you have an offer?
You need to wait for an offer letter then negotiate with HR
Keep giving interviews. It's just one company. Over time you'll learn how to politely tackle the assholes. Sometimes they get impressed too! Good luck with your job hunting
Don't get demotivated. I was grilled in my KPMG interview about everything at a very high level. But the project I have got is not even close to what I expected after the interview. Just forget it and move on.
Same thing happened me last week when i gave interview for Kpmg, the guy had around 5 yrs of experience mine is of 7 yrs but i am of little bit different field, and i told them i am looking for a change. He was asking questions which seems to be googled to me, talking in hindi, he had no background knowledge what i do and he was looking for particular words that google was prompting to him. He had no ethics of interviewing “the interview was more of how much he knows more than me” at the end he started arguing that why don’t you use our technique of using power BI and other tools, i told him that i know about these tools but currently in my work i need to do analysis manually, i dont need pie charts for that he started arguing on it. I really find him very stupid.
Are ignore karna bhai..tu best hai yehi soch hamesha
I also have same kind of experience with KPMG. A month back I have also given interview in KPMG and the interviewer was trying to embarrass me for the things which I don't have exposure and till now even I have not received any regret mail aso from their side. Post that I have grabbed offer from LTI & Capgemini. Moral of the story is don't judge yourself based on the opinion of a stupid interviewer. I am also an SAP functional consultant with 4.10 YOE.

Never tell anything to interviewer things related to offers, these are discussions related to HR only, Interviewer shouldn't ask these questions in the first place they are meant to teat your techskills rather than focus on what offers you possess...
Dont worry the fellow interviewing you got demotivated(He might be earning lesser out there) that you had a offer and said negative to make himself seem superior and make you feel demotivated, dont feel like this you already have an offer which supports your techskills dont panic you'll face many such unethical fellow who'll try to demotivate you. Also a big thing to notice never mention your current salary, offer, offered salary to interviewer there is no need to ask these questions but if they force then you can say I have already told the HR regarding this, if required will discuss with HR onn the same and also you can quote HR has said to not mention anything about salary in interview(There is never a option that interviewer can ask your salary and then say you are selected or not)
