I was asked to introduce myself first & mentioned a previous company I worked for bc it will be a similar partnership btw retailers. I was smiling and nodding and said nothing else.Afterwards, I was spoken to by a superior that this was a corporate exec call and I should never bring up my past experience and comparing them to a client. Especially, when it’s a competing company.

Looking for advice: I have an analyst (9 months on the job) who still doesn’t get it - repeatedly misses comments, doesn’t follow instructions, slow, etc. I have raised this to both my MDs and they seem to be adopting a “not my problem” approach when I mention it. I had advised against hiring this analyst post internship and my MD insisted that all the issues I highlighted were fixable. I have tried teaching him to no avail and frustration with him is growing. 1 thing that has resonated with me on this App throughout Covid, is that the beliefs I held about my consulting colleagues were completely & totally wrong. I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.
