Had a preliminary call with recruiters for a smaller VC fund. This was more than 2 weeks ago and when I followed-up the recruiters said they are still waiting for feedback.
Should I just assume they’re not interested and move on? Really wanted this tho :(

But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. I’m very interested in the opportunity but also don’t want to make a poor financial decision early in my career. Thank you for your time!
