Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

Not really. They usually interrupt to ask follow up questions and dig deeper into your responses. I had the same experience and received offer
Congratulations, will be interviewing for the same position and have the loop coming in, any insights on prepping for the loop & also the TC?

No, some are just impatient or have something else on their mind. I’m sure you did well, congrats on the interview
As someone who interviews a lot, this is because you weren’t giving them what they needed. Did you follow STAR format? We have a number of questions we want to ask in a very limited amount of time, and if you go too far off topic, we can’t get an accurate gauge of your skill level/abilities. These interviews usually can’t run over too long because you usually have another interviewer waiting to talk to you and we want to be respectful of their time as well as yours.
So this was the first interview after talking to the recruiter.

Understand that you want to get out of Big4 but also take into account:
1. The grass definitely isn’t always greener on the other side
2. You should also approach interviews as an opportunity for you to interview the prospective employer to see if it’s where *you* want to be, and if they align with your career goals, values, mission, etc.
Good luck!
Is this amazon or aws?
Put that in the post interview survey.
What level were you being interviewed by? Often, the interviewers themselves aren’t necessarily as skilled despite holding a position that makes them interview other candidates. And, what’s your total YOE?
So essentially interviewed by a peer. Makes sense as to why one would behave that way. In my experience, a lot of “peers” tend to use this power position (of being an interviewer) to “feel good” out of some personal sense of gratification by making the interview experience “tough”. Often, such people are either less skilled themselves or are insecure (for one reason or another).
Bad news fam. Maybe I was too off topic or detailed, but they didn’t move ahead with the interviews.
Sorry to hear that. Keep your head up.
For addl perspective I thought I did well at phone intv but they didn’t move ahead with me either. No idea why.
You will have other opportunities come your way. Good luck!
