Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.
Can I change to management side without risking my job .

Any firm not willing to offer some type of hybrid role is not worthy, my opinion of course. There are plenty of firms offering this and total remote. Come over to PwC we have 100% remote or hybrid pick your choice.

It’s more than enough reason! Anything that takes a toll on your mental health is actually not worth sticking through.
And the sooner you prioritize your health over appearances or whatever you think “should” happen, the sooner you can create the life that fits you best. You’ve got this!
Any company who has such a rigid policy and does nothing to counter the resignations is a company you shouldn’t work for.
Now that I have a kid the value of remote went up so much for me. My current role doesn’t give me an opportunity to be 100% remote but that just means I’ll be looking for a new job in a few months.
Go remote! Your reasoning is enough, believe in that you want to be happier.
I left an agency recently bc they were planning to return and our office has NO windows (just roof windows). Like a miserable jail going in. Pay to park.
I’m down for work trips and retreats which my remote employer paid for but never want in office or hybrid again. Set strict boundaries on when to log off, I eventually got used to it so work only happens during biz hours.
Go remote! That’s one of the reasons I left my prior employer.
Leave before you get so unhappy that interviewing is an extraordinary effort
