McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)
Hi folks,
I had got an assessment from HSBC . Problem is that the link to the assessment opens to my career page and it is showing 'Access Denied'. There is a mail and a contact no in the same assessment but the mail is showing as invalid and the phone no is less than 10 digits. Whom to approach in this situation? There is no PoC from my side.

If I were you, I say go ahead a reapply. It really could not hurt. But just mindful that this could be one of those ghost jobs. Where a company keeps listing job openings to give the illusion of company growth even though the company has no intentions of hiring anyone.
Or they offered and that person left.
What do you have to lose if you do?
You have nothing to lose but time by reapplying. So you might as well do it. But I wouldn't put a lot of hope in anything happening, as it's possible it's a ghost job. Companies are doing that more and more, posting positions they have no intention of filling, for various reasons.
In this world odd totally arbitrary objection, absolutely, yes. Even if I'd I made it through to a second round interview. I'd want to emphasize my growth since the last time - new skills, and the progress I made on what I said I was learning last time. And another chance to get around AI.
Absolutely apply. Consider tweaking your resume to really highlight what they are looking for. Also, add a cover letter. If you like the company keep applying! You could also consider starting as a contractor. Find those companies who hire for the company you like and get in the door that way. Good luck!

I have done it and heard nothing. Your email might be flagged so it's best to try with another email.
Yes, go ahead and reapply, good luck this time!
Yes reapply it might be a different manager, the person left, someone else left, person who took the job didn't workout.
If they talked to you there is a slight chance they remembered you.
Yeah I applied 3 times. It also depends on how far along they are in the process with other candidates, the hiring manager’s preferences, etc.
Possibly a ghost job, but I suppose it shouldn't hurt. I figure you can use the same resume, so not much time spent on this one.
Happens 80% of the time
Yes, I re-applied and I made it all the way till the final interview (didn’t get it), I didn’t even realize i had applied a few weeks back and was ghosted lol
Could it be they are just practicing?
