Does anyone have any insight into accounting roles at Amazon, particularly in the Arlington/DC area? An Amazon recruiter reached out about accounting roles, but the posts in this bowl are about Seattle. Trying to decide if the culture/wlb/pay is even worth looking into since it sounds like the interview process is intense. Base pay seemed pretty low in other posts, but they were a year old and for Seattle.

You don't have to give any notice. Do what you want.
2 weeks is a courtesy, generally to not burn bridges if you want to come back/interact with the people you work with again. If they didn't do you the courtesy of not creating a toxic environment, you shouldn't worry. Presumably you don't care too much about burning a bridge with your toxic manager lol
Don’t care at all. Lol I think I’ve set the tone with all my other coworkers that I am a great worker and easy to work with.
If I were one of your coworkers and had the opportunity to work with you again, I’d wonder if you’d do the same thing. I’d give the 2 weeks, not for the benefit of the manager, but to maintain positive relationships with others.
I would also not quit this job before getting another one. It’s not the same job market as a few months ago.
I’m in the final stages of my next move now. As for my coworkers they all know the situation, even people in other departments. I’m more concerned with how this will effect my hire status with the company, and how that could effect future background checks.
