Literally everyone, male and female
Yes! Many times. I always feel much better afterwards and only then realized that it’s not all that bad.
Yes, pretty sure it happens to everyone once in a while. As EY1 said, we’re not saving lives. Your manager was probably stressed out too and taking it out on you, don’t take it personally
I have a few times, but I mad sure it was never in front of the person doing the yelling - I don’t want them getting the satisfaction of making me cry.
Now I never cry. Once I realized that this isn’t life and death (as a few others noted) my life changed lol
I did a few times. Just keep in mind that it’s only an audit/review, we aren’t saving lives here. You’ll learn soon that being mentally strong is crucial. One day you’ll look back and laugh
Ahh that’s a good point. Nobody is going to die if we have to push back filing by a week
Same boat before. A Terrible manager always condescend me for all the hard work i did. There was a moment I even started to doubt myself. I cried in front of him twice since I couldnt handle the way he was talking to me like I am total losser. Luckily I'm out of his team and now I'm in a team with a great boss who tells me I'm a high performer who meets most of gold standards. Great experience to let me know the difference between a good manager vs. A terrible not qualified manager. That's how I know what type of manager I want to be in the future.
Hey EY OP, how are you? Did it blow over?
Hey GT1, yes it did :) and luckily I’m off that engagement and on a much more pleasant one
Yup
I feel 1000x less alone. Thank you guys!
yup
