Has anyone noticed that it is now extremely difficult to do three way calling with 401k custodians? Is this a recent change, and if so does someone have a good workaround?

Yeah I do multiple calls a month. Haven’t had any issues.

like

I love calls with them. It’s even better when they try to retain the client. Ahhhhh pump the brakes boss, just process the acat

like

In what way is it difficult? You’re on the line with the client, client grants permission to the custodian for you to be on the call

What’s changed ?

Nope. 401k providers are getting more aggressive about keeping people, but a little heads up to the client and its smooth sailing.

Ex healthcare workers in Tech/Sales Engineering/ Healthcare consulting;
I have my masters in nursing/FNP (1 yr) making <K70 (Indiana) due to low patient census in my role. No desire for a different FNP job nor to return to bedside nursing (RN 5 yrs). I have heard of some individuals with remote positions making >K100 with little to no experience in tech or consulting after doing a boot camp or cert?

Healthcare corporations… please note you have more then 1 shift of workers. You have 3 most times, each shift has to be treated equally. This is and always have been an issue, and you cannot figure out why the other shifts refuse to be active and participate in anything and definitely not engaged anymore.

So my bipolar dad got declined for a mortgage because disability gets shut off in < 3 years when he turns 65. So now he wants me to co-sign for him. Between housing markets being up, my concerns over his money mgmt, and concerns over tying up my credit there’s no way I can say yes. He sold his house before being approved for the new one he put in for (against my advice). I know he won’t understand and will take this personally, and the family will probably take his side. Gonna be a long week…

Hello HR folks. Overheard a conversation at work and am curious what is the norm.
If an employee goes out on FMLA, obviously the benefits person sends them the STD, FMLA paperwork etc. But is it the maagers responsibility to maintain communication with the person out on leave and to get a timeline on their return or would that be the benefits team? Or maybe the HRBP?

Curious what is involved with lateraling as a partner financially from a nuts/bolts perspective. I don’t mean LPQs or negotiating comp, but the practical things like timing of exit and how that relates to end of year draws, profit-sharing contributions, getting your capital back, and all that. My firm has a lot of aspects of comp and benefits and it seems like a ton of moving parts. Not planning on leaving but I may have to start listening to recruiters if comp doesn’t go well.

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction.
