Is it common to receive feedback after multiple interviews?

Got a rejection late last night after probably 3 hours of interviews and a take home assignment & presentation. They told me they wanted to consider me for other positions, but would like to know if there is anything actionable I can improve on for other companies.

I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. However parent company still hired me and now they're in process of allocating me in some other clients. Sometimes i feel insecure about this situation. How to cope up with such cases?

I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason. Had a very unpleasant experience with the entire interview process at Paytm. First of all they kept all three rounds in a single day . It started from the morning and ended up till the final round at late evenings. After all the rounds were cleared, the HR asked for the expected package, and when I gave him my quote which was just 35% more than my current CTC, he got reluctant and said we only have a budget of an X amount which was just 10% more than my current CTC. Who on earth does that..?

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

I’m 4 rounds into the interview process for an Assistant Controller position in SoCal.

For the next round, I’ll be meeting with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and 5 other junior accounting staff.

I’ll have 30 minutes to explain a month-end close task (of my choice) to the accounting team.

Also, I’ll have to analyze a random reconciliation and explain improvements that can be made.

very Selective jobs( MF PE and BB IBs) kinda blow these numbers out of the water... but for the more attainable exits like MM IB and and corporate development... considering wlb and pay, is the grass much greener?

Is anyone feeling especially burnt out lately? I’ve had to work weekends for the last month. I know deals are sporadic but it feels like they have consistently ended up this way where I’m forced to work weekends. Getting frustrated because pay has also slowed down.

Does FDD vary by firm or do they pretty much compete and do the same work? Like which one has the best practice in NYC from the big4?

What firms do higher variable comp? I’m familiar with A&M’s model, but curious if there are others. Figure if I’m busting it, might as well get compensated for it.
