Has anyone used external offers to leverage an internal promotion? Curious how you went about it.

Had an offer for 30% more , a promotion to manager, extra week of vacation to switch firms. I love where I am at with my clients and there is a lot of potential there. Should I stay the course?

Where can we get those details to check the required and expected things to go the next level?
How many levels in Staff? What is the min YOE is required to be a Senior?
How many months/years minimum we need to spend to be eligible for promotion (ex: minimum 1 year a person need to spend on one grade like that)

What’s your guess on the salary raise percentage?

Would you take a £10k pay rise to move to industry in a global role if it meant no promotion prospects and working with no team mates?

For a top Producer of 3 years, is it appropriate to now ask for a raise in my base pay? Base was 42,500 when I started, but now inflation + 2 children later the base pay barely gets me by. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Making 55k now. What should I be looking to earn in my promotion this cycle?

I asked for a raise at work and they told me I would have to wait until the new fiscal year (5 months from now) before they could make any adjustments. I provided many reasons to my management as to why I deserve the raise and all the successes I’ve had over the years with this company and management agreed that they were all valid reasons that warrant a raise. Does it make sense to stay and wait it out or should I be looking for a new job because I am being under valued?

Just got an offer from PwC for 47.5K for SA role in Manchester. Feels kinda low considering everyone just got a 7%+ pay raise. Can anyone comment if this is in line or not? I was told this would put me above the SA band

Need some feedback! So I was forced to move jobs about 6 months ago due to reorg and the new leader opting to bring their existing EA with them, without even meeting me. If stayed at the company but accepted an offer for a job outside of the department I was in. Hi All, i am CA currently working with Deloitte USI i got an offer from Zscaler for SEC reporting team for senior analyst post for chandigarh at 17LPA fixed no bonus no stocks. My Promotion is due in deloitte in June 23 after promotion fixed plus bonus will surpass current offer of Zscaler. I doubt if i make a switch to industry it will be difficult for me to Join big 4 again

Can anyone let me know how easy it is to apply to a consulting firm in Dubai directly coming from London? I am currently working at a T2 strategy firm in London and my partner and I want to relocate in ~1.5 years. My firm does not have an office in Dubai whilst my partners firm does.
