Hey fishes,
I have given the interview in Hexaware and later on I got the email to fill the CAF form which is also done. Nos it's been 20 days and no call, no e-mail at all! I can see the status as offet pending.
I am on notice period and I have only 1 month remaining.
Is it like, hexaware will release the offer at the end time or something! Because I'm eagerly waiting for the offer as I don't have much time now!

Yes, in my experience they will be much more conventional and not give much away. They won’t joke around much and will have a list of set questions.
Like how did you solve this type of problem, what would your current boss say about you if we asked them, what are your long term goals, why do you want to go client side, how do you deal with people when they don’t agree with you etc.
You will be fine though. Just remember they are nothing like advertising people so they won’t treat the interview like a casual chit chat like we’re used to. They’ll have a list of questions and they probably won’t have looked at your folio.
I would try to steer the answers towards examples of your work. Use it to talk about your successes, either with getting great work through or solving client problems or building great relationships. Use real examples and try to talk about your ideas so they know what kind of great thinking you have done.
And have some questions to ask them at the end too. Even if you already know the answer. Also ask how many candidates they’re considering and when you’ll hear back from them.

I’ll piggy back on this and also add that you’ll want to find ways of highlighting how you’re a team player. Brand-side cultures are often the antithesis of agency ones (sometimes painfully), so put your client face on. Good luck OP.
If a non creative person is interviewing you, or even in the room- talk about impact/results, talk about how you and your team is receptive to, and reacted to data to optimize creative in market. It really depends on the type of company, and obviously read the room, but client side loves minimizing risk, data/analytics/ consumer insights help do that. It’s not sexy but you’ll be speaking their language.

Be yourself and don’t make stuff up that doesn’t feel right. You’ll have to work there if you get the job. Just be prepared for a different interview style.
Depends. What kind of company is it?
In my experience not much different. But if I were you I’d ask them the questions... how does their creative process look/work. Who do creative approvals go through. Is the creative team expected to participate in marketing exercises as well? These teams are very different than agencies. Make sure it’s the right fit for you.
Yeah, interview questions will require that you give specific examples. There’s something tech companies looks for: you state the problem that needed to be solved, your specific role in solving that problem and why you chose to do it that way, and the result of your decision. There’s even an acronym for it that I’m forgetting. Outside of that, they’re still people who are looking for someone who’s nice that they’ll want to be around, so it’ll still feel conversational and fun.

OP: How did it go?

Guys thank you! It helped in a big way when getting into the right headspace.
It went really well, they basically said they have seen my LinkedIn and book so they really liked me and that this call was just an opportunity for me to ask them any questions.
They're in the process of organising the final interview with their VP of creative at the moment, which they said should be quite casual.
Thanks again, very much appreciated!
